Sugarcane
Sugarcane or sugar cane refers to several species and hy brids of tall perennial grasses in the genus Saccharum, tribe Andropogoneae that are used for sugar production. It is native to the warm temperate to tropical regions of Southeast Asia and New Guinea. Farmers who depend on perennial crops such as coffee for cash usually have to wait for the harvest season to earn money.
