Silkworms

Silkworm farming or sericulture is the rearing of silkworms on mulberry leaves for silk production. Silkworm farming is an emerging agro-enterprise that is being promoted by the Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries.
