9 SIMPLE STEPS FOR A FARMER TO GET AGRICULTURAL INPUTS FROM NAADS
The following are the steps to get agricultural inputs from NAADS;
- Present your request for input needs to your farmer group or to the agricultural extension officer attached to your Sub County
- All requests presented by farmers at the Sub County are submitted to the district headquarters which assesses and compiles all the requests for planting and livestock materials required across the district

- NAADS Secretariat makes an assessment of all district submissions and communicates to each district through an advice slip the details of how much inputs are to be provided to each based on the available resources.
- The districts through the agricultural extension officers and other communication platforms send communication to farmers on the availability of the inputs (type and quantities) and the date of distribution to enable them prepare adequately
- NAADS Secretariat procures the agricultural inputs from prequalified service providers who deliver the inputs to the districts
- The input district committee at the districts which is chaired by the RDC makes an inspection of the delivered inputs to ensure the right quality and quantities as per given specifications
- The suppliers deliver the inputs to the Sub County/Parish and distribution is done accordingly.
- Farmers acknowledge receipt of inputs by signing on the distribution sheet. This sheet is endorsed by Operation Wealth Creation (OWC), extension staff and Parish/Sub County Chief.
